Colt 1878 Frontier

Here is one of my long-barrelled 1878 Colts, all original grips and finish, in .45 LC. This one was made in 1880

1862 Colt Pocket Navy

From my collection, this is a "factory" conversion, 1862 Colt Navy Pocket revolver, (not an 1849). Caliber is .38RF and manfacture date is late 1872.

Old and New "3 Starrs"

I like Starrs, so from top to bottom are some of my 1858 Starr Arms Company, 1858 DA Army, top two are original Starrs (circa 1860, and 1862-1863) and bottom is a venerable Pietta reproduction (a very nicely finished and functional firearm)

Montenegran Gasser

Here is another one of my "odd ball" guns. Documented as an Austrian, Montenegran Gasser, in 11.75 x 51 Montenegran Long, made in 1880. The girps are horn, and it was originally nickled, all thats left is the engraving and a nice patina.

djani I love those vintage guns,I shoot modern guns too ,but I see my 686 as a big chunk of steel compared to the elegance of a SAA six shooter
the smith you are showing is a very nice gun,I had one in my hands a few day's ago ,same nice condition as yours,.....but I will keep myself to the hamerless models

Totally agree with you, Bob's collection is unbelievable. And yes, I am married, but the trick is, my wife has no idea whats in the gun room or the safes, and its best to keep it that way!!
