.44 special and up, is what i'm basically looking for. .45 ACP isn't sufficient enough for the 4 legged creatures i'd like it for.

.44 special is more powerfull than 45ACP?

I'm thinking any .44 special load more powerfull than an average 45acp load shouldn't be fired from an antique.
