Anti's and the LEH in BC

Low rate of success means they will give out more tags next year, i welcome the anti hunters to do this sinse all it does is provide us with more conservation money

You need money to sit through core. I dont see these sacs of s**t doing that either. Welfare does not pay for CORE courses.

Don't underestimate the enemy! Most of them are the children of doctors and lawyers, and they often have multiple degrees. I see them at the bank picking up huge amounts of cash that their parents wire them. Lots of them have hunting licenses, too, and hunt deer, but not "trophy" animals. These same hippies even spend the winter in Australia and New Zealand, when us working idiots can't afford a trip to the mainland.

Unless there is compulsory inspection required of the animal they can just say they were successfull in taking an animal and it gets counted in the harvest quota.

This is a win win for us, let's hope they are doing it !! They have to buy a huntng license and a species tag, then if they lie and say they harvested (no compulsory reporting to back it up) then our (resident hunter) harvest is showing as being met and none of our AAH (annual allowable harvest) will get transitioned to the guide outfitters.

Let them buy all the LEH entries they want if this is true - which I highly doubt by the way.

All it will do is generate a cash stream for the BC ministry of Environment which will increase the number of tags issued the next year due to the low success rate.

What low success rate would that be?

You figure that they would go through the trouble, and then not lie about it when asked by survey? Because nobody ever lied to a telephone or other survey, right.

Dunno how much longer the BC system can go on with being strictly mail-out an mail-in draws.

FWIW, here in AB, I can apply online, pay online, buy my tags online, etc. But mostly, I can see what my actual draw results are, online (the only bit I have issues with, for the potential for abuse). I get confirmation in the mail, but the info in the database is what allows me to buy the tag in the first place.

Since all the data is there in the database, it would be pretty straightforward to see if anyone here was buying up tags without buying a licence.

If you really think mail is disappearing, contact Canada Post. If you are not getting your draw results, contact the source.

Cheers
Trev
