Anyone else have this problem? You wouldn't think such a thing was possible, but it is. I have had to clean out and relocate my Spypoint Force Dark, but it still worked after cleaning. Now the little bastards have ruined my favourite Moultrie. They got in through the SD card port, which almost impossible to clean out, being a pre-made component part. The camera just says "busy" when you turn it on and then shuts off. I called Moultrie and they said it is pooched. Gave me a 40% off voucher but the shipping and exchange from the US will delete that right quick.

I run my cameras year round on my farm, but if this keeps up I may have to only put them out during the cold weather. I also thought about switching to using steel fence posts and coating it in tangle foot or some other physical barrier.

Your thoughts and advice please ladies and gentlemen. Thanks in advance! Kevin

If infrared the window can be a real spoiler. Tanglefoot sounds good, D earth,
I had a wasp do something to a web cam I have Obviously wanted something off the lense(plastic?) Ruined the lense

There is a sticky tape you can get that is placed around the bases of fruit trees to prevent ants and other creepy crawly insects from crawling up trees.
Buddy has a peach tree the ants have invaded yearly until two seasons ago...
Check out your local nursery ...not the Rona or Home Depot ones, but the proper independent ones.
