I;ve seen this guy put a few vids... he seems on the up and up..
I think he didn't expect to see a buck or expected her first deer to be doe...
I think he mentioned the doe tags casue he figured that's what they would see and she would shoot...

but I'm just giving the benefit of the doubt, hoping this is the case..

Depending on the year of the vid, depending on the zone and date it is perfectly legal to shoot a whitetail or an an either ### mulie. Im guessing they were in a CWD zone when the video was taken, they are well known around here as ethical hunters.

She had a good reason to be excited. I'd be pretty excited also, thats a nice whitetail. I always love seeing someone take their first big game. Good on her!

Wow! Nice buck! Nothing wrong with showing a little excitement after the shot. Hunters usually put a lot of effort into their hunting. She will remember that hunt for a long time. Deer season is still a ways off here in Ontario, but Fall black bear is coming soon! I'm starting to get excited already.

In CWD areas of Sask if you purchase Doe tags and bring them in cancelled they will issue the hunter a Mule Buck tag. Whitetails are open at the same time...
