Any .22 AR style non-restricted rifles in Canada?

sunjeep24 I would eventually like to get a black rifle. I was looking into starting up with the .22 then working my way up. Just doesn't make any sense to me right now to purchase a restricted rifle that can only have 5 rounds, which are pretty expensive on their own not including the actual rifle. You do have a point though, after all is said and done a Ruger 10/22 with a conversion kit and all that jazzy tactical stuff could be more expensive than some base black rifles.

Zeuce you hit the nail on the head. I really don't have any use for a restricted rifle nor do I believe that they're should be restricted rifles, but that argument is a whole other can of worms.

Thank you for all the replies.

Stand up and be counted.
Some people don't want to own guns that need to be counted on a government list.
The only purpose of registration is confiscation.
I have an RPAL belong to a range and have no restricteds. Bought a JRC to get into the AR thing.
I never registered any long guns and took full advantage of the amnesty provided before the demise of the lgr.

I think this would qualify. AR furniture to boot.
