Any .22 deals?

It's running thin, depends on what you want and what you can spend. Several vendors got in a supply of SK ammos around the end of Feb, they're running low on some. Try Solely, Tesro, Sporteque for that. I got some CCI-SV in bulk from Tenda @ $125/1K, but they're out right now- maybe restocked. CCI-MiniMags @ $570/5K if you use HV. Tenda, Solely and Bullseye all do Free shipping at $250-300 purchase. Maybe others I'm not aware of.
Just shop all the sponsors, some good deals still out there.

Thanks, I will check them out, the Federal bulk pak 325 rounds is on at cabelas here for $29.99, not bad for rifle plinking and fairly accurate.

Shrinkflation and regular inflation.... 550 blue boxes used to be around $15 after tax at Cdn Tire back in the hay day.

Ayup.

I am still working through the old stock I bought years ago when the gun shop was bringing in pallets of .22 ammo and it was $20 a brick.

Gonna be a pretty sad day buying at retail again...

I still have 23 Blue boxes 525 rds from CT $11.99 per box...My fellow shooters all laughed at me for buying so many. I bought 100 boxes. I'm the one laughing now. I'm in my 70's and don't shot as much anymore so pretty confident that that will last me for awhile.

I don't have that much hay in the barn... but I have a few bales..... :)

That is great, I have some stored up for sure. Not that much but some, still buying the deals. It was and still is the best mentality, buÿ it cheap and stack it deep!

I remember similar ridicule when I bought around 20,000 rounds of 22LR back in 2007 when Cabela's opened their first store in Canada, in the previous Winnipeg SIR store. I picked up the ammo at $10/500. As I recall even the cashier questioned if I was a nutcase, lol. Nonetheless, even back then I knew it was a good deal and I am only now starting to get a little low on that stock. More recently picked up 10K @ $34/500 during Christmas sales online. That should be enough to last me until I am done :) . Anyways there is something more than inflation in play. A $10 brick in 2007 dollars should only be around $16 today if inflation was the only factor. Today's typical non premium 22LR at $50-60/brick represents something more akin to stock market gains at ~ 10% annualized, compounded returns.

I've still got some 'low-priced' 22LR I bought 8-10 years ago - Rem G @ $7/100, Fed BlackPak @ $5/100, Fed Champion 40G RNL @ $5/100, Herters 36g HVHP @ $5/100. Total of ca 6-7K rounds left, I've been shooting more targets than cans

All the recent nato expansion and war mongering has got polliticans in Canada thinking that maybe we need a Millitary that is capable and strong and has all the ammo and weapons they need...... no doubt there will be some "ArriveScam" type money flowing out in the near future.

It would be nice if Canada could produce it's own ammo and not just for our millitary but for police and all the civilian shooters working on their marksmanship.
