Look at conventional (ie unchallenging) deer rifles, like the Remington gas auto family. Winchester Model 100 is a semi. Benelli make several nice ones, as well as Browning.
What is an "unchallenging" deer rifle?

That is the Brugger and Thomet (B+T) Advanced Police Carbine in .308 cal (APC-308 ). The weight is 11.2 lbs (5.1 kg) Bare with ACR Stock, VFG and Magazine, or 15 lbs (6.8 kg) all-up including the Bushnell DMR IIi 3.5-21x 56mm Optic and Atlas Bipod.
My advice when it comes to the bullpup options is to try before you buy if at all possible. I owned a Keltec RFB and sold it because of reliability issues. I also had a Tavor 7, but quickly sold it because I could not group it accurately. It felt to me like it had a very "bouncy" recoil impulse that sent rounds all over the place. YMMV.
not gona lie that looks pretty sweet
Didn’t the Valmet Hunter come in .308?
