any .410 shells in the country?

Has to be scarce for some guys as the last auction guys were paying up to 75 bucks plus tax and fees for a box of them. Like really can they be that desperate.

Honestly... I've looked high & low in store across 2 provinces with zero luck.. figured I'd buy online and pay outrageous shipping... but even that search is coming up empty! Any tips?

I have some 410 slugs in my cabinet..but that will do you know good.lol, but you can use 444 brass and make your own reloadable ones that will last forever..
Hope that might help.
Cheers

I was in the Whitecourt, AB Crappy Tire store last week. I haven't seen so much .410 ammo in YEARS! Shelves FULL of Challenger 2.5 and 3 inch. There's a reason the shelves are full: They want $49.99 per box!!! As much as I'd like to have a few more boxes, I refuse to pay that.

I was in the Huntsville Ontario Crappy Tire last week and they had several 500 round bricks of Remington Thunderbolts (.22lr) for $89.99/brick. I was so shocked by the price, I didn't even bother to check if they had any .410 ammo.

Wow, that is significantly worse than the $75 per 555 brick of Winchester 22LR at my local China tire.

At the recent Calgary gun show the exact same 410 ammo was priced from $35-$50 per 25 rounds depending on the vendor. I had to laugh because I picked it up the very same ammo for $30 from one of the CGN sponsor vendors just before the show. Its just silly profiteering.

One of our sponsors, SFRC, has lots of 410 shotshells in stock right now. $25 per box of 25 rds.
2 1/2" only, I believe.

Just about every sports store in Kalispell, Montana now has both 2 1/2" and 3" 410 birdshot shells.

This may not help folks in Canada, but it is starting to show up. Prices were an average of $26.00 USD for 2 1/2" and $28.00 for 3", in Kalispell.

Midway USA has plenty of 410 ammo in stock:

Midway USA does not ship to Canada, but those that live close to the border can open up a mailbox at their local town or city on the USA side. It's at least a chance to get 410 ammo.

Unfortunately Canadian Tire Stores across Canada have been forced into Corporate price gouging. Only dealers with scruples will keep ammunition pricing at reasonable prices.

I ran the largest Canadian Tire Pro Shop in Cranbrook, BC for close to four years. We had over 800 firearms and over one million dollars in ammunition. Because I created and ran this Pro Shop and the fact I had a great dealer/owner, we had the best prices and selection in BC.

Now under new ownership, and with me retiring due to health issues, it is once again a Corporate run standard Canadian Tire sports shop. All my good staff also left once I was finished. It's a crying shame, but it is a Corporate CT reality that is run by Toronto and it's big wigs out there.

I have noticed the firearm prices are now 30%-40% higher and ammunition prices practically doubled on some items. Other ammunition went up 60%-80%. An absolute disgrace to my 3.75 years of hard work........:(

Shame to hear that you've run into some health issues. I used to really enjoy stopping in at your pro-shop counter for a BS and to buy something I "needed". Hope your health doesn't stop you from doing the things you really enjoy

All the small local stores around here received new shipments of Federal and Remington shells. The quantities are restricted however and they won’t let you by more than a few boxes. They range from $28.99 to $39.99, much better than the thieves at Canadian Tire who were asking $49.99 for that crappy Challenger stuff.
