X 54r is the same cartridge, unless you have some kind of competition, finish made rifle that specifically chambers x53 r. If so then your only choices ere to reload shortened x54 cases to x53 specks or find Lapula super grade ammo, that who knows if available.
Otherwise just use 7.62x54r

If you have a 7.62X53R use 7.62X53R ammo or reload using 7.62X53R or 7.62X54R cartridge cases with .308 diameter bullets as the difference is in the diameter of the bullet not the length.
