Any 870 14" barrels still out there?

Hi folks,

Does anyone have a line on a 14" 870 barrel? I'm looking to pick one up but haven't seen the dealers stocking them in a while, so thought I would ask here.

They manufacture them, they just don't make it up here

I think sfrc had some used guns with 14" barrels; you could buy them and part out the receiver, etc and just keep the barrel. Sounds like a tedious process to me, but it's an option. I'm not sure who the manufafturer was. Otherwise ee or a Dlask barrel as already mentioned.

You got that right. I saw one a couple weeks ago on the EE and Buddy was asking more than they went for new back when the dealers were selling them a couple years ago. I know our dollar isn't what it used to be but yikes.

They're out there, but they aren't cheap any more - my LGS has them for $269 (if I recall correctly). Probably why they still have them, but at least they're new in the box. I still have a couple, but I have old Wingmasters for them too.

I would settle for a Norinco barrel too if I could find one that indexed properly. Anyone see any Norcs out there? I thought the Dlask ones only fit their proprietary models.

Dlask barrels will fit any Remington 870.

My Canuck Defender 14" barrel would not fit on my 870 express. Dont know what Turkish barrel your talking about though.

Just taking a wild stab. I dont know much about the Turkish shotguns. Only that they are based of the 870. What is exactly copied to the 870? I have no idea

Dlask makes two different versions of their 14" barrels.

The difference is the position of the ring that attaches to the magazine tube.

One version fits any normal Remington 870.
But the other version only fits on their super-shorty shotguns.

Dlask website shows they are sold out of the barrels that fit the regular 870s. They only have barrels for the shorty version.

I have one. I like it. When I go hunting, I switch out the long barrel for the shorty at the end of the day and when solo, sleep in the tent with it under the cot

Indeed they do. I have a 12" and a 14" Dlask and they fit 870's very well.

Yes, you are correct. Forgot that note.

I have 2x 870P's (90's era ?) , 3x Wingmasters (2x 80's era, 1x 70's era ?) and had a newer Express. Fit all of those.
