Took a drive out to Cadomin today. Of course these ones being on the mine property are off limits during hunting season. Nice animals though.

Nice shots! Good sheep hunting in that area if ya know where to go. Are you going after a wall hanger this fall, maybe doing some window shopping were ya? :D

Shhhhhhh Mark, keep 'er quiet! J/K I have heard alot about Cadomin and had been putting in for the draw. You have something like a .4% chance of ever getting drawn. Now I'm trying for the straight lottery in the bordering 438, one can always hope.

My brother in law has gone up to the mines during the rut and gotten some real dandy pics.

As for your Elk, I was chatting with a guy at the range on saturday and he was doing some road work by Grande Cache a few years ago. He happened to have a bugle with him and let one rip right from the road. In no time he got a reply back and had them come right in to him. Best of luck in your quest.

Thanks for sharing the pics, I have a bad addiction to Sheep hunting and need to get a fix once in awhile!;)

Nice pics.....would love to get in there and hunt sheep. A local guy got drawn for the ministers permit back in 2000 or 1999 and killed a great ram on the boundary of the mine from the Hot Rock in November.....

..................I work with some guys that have hunted the area for 20+ years some have told me that they witnessed fish and wildlife go in with a chopper a couple days before opening day and scare the rams higher up and more out of reach. Not sure if this is true. Just what i heard from some locals.
