Any AR15 6.5 Grendel Shooters?

The problem, as I stated quite clearly, is that AA as of the last time I checked didn't export to Canada, nor were they interested in doing so. Sabre is expensive as hell and CSS is out of stock on everything. So, if you can get yourself a supply of 6.5 Grendel bolts for $66, you better order a few, hope they make it through customs and make a fortune up here selling them to people who really want one, but can't get one.

First off its a very long wait in the US for anything Grendel. Always has been.

I just sold a never fired Stainless 6.5Grendel with AA bolt, with Saber Gill brake including shipping for $750. I wouldn't consider that "expensive as hell". SSaber barrels generally come with brake, folding front sight etc. You can't compare the price of these barrels to utility grade AR barrels. Have you priced a Noveske / WOA / Shilen etc AR barrel lately ?

When you can buy a AA Grendel barrel and bolt (16") from Midway for $269US, then $750 is expensive in my books. The problem is, as stated, that AA refused to export their product so we are stuck paying high prices.

I am well aware what the "better" brands sell for. Personally, and this is just my opinion, I don't need a $1500 upper to shoot better. If you have the money and want to spend it on fancy brand names be my guest.

The whole point I was trying to make with my original post was that AA refuses to export to Canada. My frustration doesn't have anything to do with wait times. As a matter of fact I have ordered numerous AR parts in the last week and always found availability somewhere.

Apples to orange comparison. The AA barrel does not come with gas block / front flip up sight and brake as the Sabers do. You are also quoting the price for the 16" AA. The 18+ is over $320. By the time you add all the other extras in the, Sabre is only about $100 more. BTW the Saber barrel is $650 US at Midway. By the time you factor in FX and duty etc , $750 is not expensive. It cost me more to when it was done.

You can't compare the $270 for the AA to the $650 US Sabre package.

Also the Lapua Grendel brass is $100 ( US ) per 100 ! Why wouldn't you spend another $100 to buy a Satern or Sabre barrel over the AA. BTW it was Bill Alexander himself that told me the the Satern and Sabres are great barrels

You also say that you don't need a $1500 upper to shoot better...how much do you think the AA uppers are ? They are from $USD900 to $USD1000 . With current FX rate and other import fees you will be into $1500 by the time you are done.

If you don't want the import, but really want a Grendel, Dlask in BC has built a few
