Hello
I think I got to keep away from ALL these sites. I just read the opening up an AR15.
I have got to ask, firstly, caught my eye, looks nice, tempted.
Anyone know if there are any Canadian Dealers which are having sales coming up? I have my RPAL so that is not an issue, price could be a factor.
Thanks
George

Hello Again
Been looking at it again at the A.F.O. Store tempting BUT for a guy who knows NOTHING about this rifle, can I ask owners here:
1. Easy to clean / disassemble?
2. Magazines readily available / Price?
3. Easily configured to one`s liking; forehand grip, scope etc. One supplier OR vast market to fit this rifle?

P.S. This is a restricted rifle Yes? I have my RPAL so the same procedure applies as any restricted handgun purchase procedure goes, Yes ?

Thanks Again for getting me into more trouble with this sport/collecting.

George

These guys have 3 American made AR15s on sale for $699. Others have similar deals on right now, likely due to excess stock in the USA after sales dropped when the Donald was elected.

This is the best price on a USA made AR in a loooooong time. Those on the fence will NOT find a better deal.

They are very reliable and easy to clean. Magazines are everywhere, and you can use LAR15 pistol mags to enjoy 10 shots. They are called "Adult Lego" because they are very easy to customize and update.

Yes, the AR15 is restricted by name, just like a handgun.

^^^ What he said.

1- You can field strip in 5 seconds by pulling out 2 retained push pins. Detail strip the bolt control group down to the firing pin in another 10 seconds with nothing more than a bullet tip. It is as easy as it gets. Cleaning means a good spray of your favorite CLP product and a boresnake. Done.

2- Magazines are very available. The good ones will run you 20-30$ each. You can get 10 pack deals from some dealers.

3- You are talking about the most popular civilian rifle in the US. The after market is insanely diverse. You can get whatever accessories you can dream of, including rail mounted range finders, night vision optics, lasers, grips, bi and tri pods, flashlights, knifes, beer can holders (not kidding). Sky is the limit.

Welcome to the addiction :)
