Any Beretta APXs still available?

Dang, now this thread has me thinking like firebat about getting a second APX. Love my first one.

2 left in stock at PR. I almost bought one but backed out when i was about to press purchase button. Just not a fan of the new style. Buddy of mine in the US has it and says it's no different then the original in function or trigger. Just looks are different.

But the ability to put an optic on it without milling is nice. My wife likes the red dots on the pistols.

The original one also has what they call an RDO option (it was optic ready)

There's an Fde on the EE, the main difference besides cosmetics between the A0 & A1 are no finger grooves, higher undercut on trigger guard, deeper beavertail, competion striker, single coil recoil spring, which can be purchased for the A0.

Although the single coil recoil spring from the A1 makes takedown a real bugger when used on the A0 so I don't use it(locks up hard on the take down lever). I stick with the stock A0 dual coil spring and the HD dual coil spring, the new A1 now comes with a stainless steel trigger group.

What makes me laugh the Rdo version still has no "suppressor sights" lol, optic ready.

Those can be purchased as well.

I enjoy both my RDO/Combat APX's and have no issues or problems with either. It's a very comfortable hg to shoot and does not hinder my abilities to shoot with one hand. Easy to maintain, service, replace chassis/trigger group, mag release, finished 2nd to the SSp320 in the military trials. Its one of the finest striker fire duty hg's out there.

I have an ODG A0 as well. I replaced striker guide rod with a stainless steel aftermarket kit, it made the trigger pull a bit lighter and now the trigger is noticeably smoother and crisper. I'll do the same to my newly acquired A1. And I also installed a heavier recoil spring with a steel guide rod on A0. It's a non-RDO version but I got an adapter plate that can be installed instead of the rear sight, I'll install it eventually so that I'll have A0 with optics and A1 will be kept stock, I really like A1 sights with a tritium front and blackened back.

Sounds fantastic you have both gens, sweet. Luckily Trijicon and Beretta have sights available now, it's was pretty scarce for upgrades at the beginning for the APX.

The striker guide rod kit you acquired, was that a Galloway Percision? Ty

Great, appreciate that firebat. Did you ever compare the GP striker to the Beretta competition striker(green)? If so what were your observations between the 2 in regards to improve feel/break.

GP is lighter and smoother. I have a green striker on A1, so I compared them side by side and decided to upgrade A1 as well. There's some grittiness present with the stock green striker on A1 that is totally absent on my upgraded A0. But the green one on A1 is not bad by any means, it's just GP one is even better.

Ty for taking the time to respond firebat greatly appreciate the feedback. I'll have to order some for myself. Thanks again.
