Any big guys handled a Browning Micro?

Too bad you do not hold yourself to such a high standard. You only shot these,so you must have bummed off others. You must be a slow learner to buy ten guns, that are garbage if you did not borrow. As far as the stocks go,I like.Accuracy can more often than not, be explained by who,or what is pulling the triger.I bought and still own, eleven Brownings, and enjoy them all.Iam not easily satisfied when it comes to guns, as far as fit and finish, and accuracy goes.Sounds like we have different tastes.

I have friends that thoroughly enjoy shooting. We go out for what you'd call "range days" some days we shoot each others junk for nothing more than to wonder what gun _______ shoots like. A few of my friends are browning and Tikka lovers (between 3 of them they have about 15 brownings and 20 tikkas), so I've had the pleasure (or displeasure) of thoroughly examining and shooting a handfull of these rifles from 100-370 yards.

I stand by the fact that a browning is as accurate as a tikka thats as accurate as a remington thats as accurate as a savage thats as accurate as etc, etc.

Also FWIW, accuracy isnt hard to achieve in most any gun (especially if you're a handloader). Other things are more important for me right out of the box (well built, quality parts, IE no plastic or pulp wood,) stuff that cannot be changed. After all of those things are taken care of accuracy is but a handload away .

Love my version 1 Abolt SS.Actually prefer the hinged floorplate detachable mag.Keeps the the Mag area clean while quadding or in inclement weather. It shoots everthing well and the trigger is adjustable.Never had a misfeed. Love the Duratouch and it balances perfect for me .

I am the same size as you, I got one from the EE here. I love it, it shoots well and seems to fit me OK. The price was good and there were some new ones at around 500$ . A great cartridge and a very fine rifle.

limbsaver slip on

I love hornet, but mine are all CZ's. With most any rifle I add the LS slip on pad I'm 6'5". Buy that rifle we need more hornet shooters. FS

Thanks fellows, I have my heart set on a left hand bolt to add to my safe. I'm a lever gun rifleman but one little left bolt in Hornet meets my needs. The X Bolt in 223 is also a consideration. However I have a thing for heritage cartridges. Currently I shoot 32-20, 32 Special, 303, and 444 all peep sighted. I've decided that a small bore scoped bolt would be a good addition. It seems these contraptions might catch on!!!

I have owned two Miroku made rifles previously and inspected the Browning bolts recently. The fit and finish is superb. I prefer tang safeties and the short bolt throw is a delight.
