Any bolt 7.62x39 bolt rifles out there?

Not a common question. I think Ruger makes/made a Model 77 in 7.62x39. Marstar sells/sold a little Norinco magazine bolt action in 7.62x39.

The cream-of-the-crop is the CZ527, but at roughly $700+ you need to shoot a LOT of cheap ammo to justify it for that purpose.

If you're just interested in cheap plinking, then look for the Norinco JW 103 Bushranger. I had one, but it wasn't what I wanted in a rifle in that caliber, so I sold it.

It wasn't all that accurate, so if you're looking for accuracy then go to another brand or model. I'm not any kind of expert, this is just my experience.

Australian International Arms made a Lee Enfield jungle carbine in 7.62x39mm, the bonus being it takes AK magazines. I have one and it's nice to shoot. I don't think more than about 60 got imported though, and I don't think they're around any more.

Ruger 77 MkII 7.62x39mm

I picked up an original stainless/synthetic Ruger MkII in 7.62x39mm awhile back. Originally, it came with the factory paddle stock, which Ruger put 'wood' inserts in on this rifle. Originally, it was a 'limited run' production, although now the Ruger 77 in 7.62x39mm is a regular production item.

Recently, I put my Ruger barrelled action into a new style factory synthetic stock that I picked up off the EE here:

IMHO, the new style stock really improves the overall appearance of the rifle.

Now have the paddle stock hanging on the wall of my gunroom for a 'decoration'... :D
