Any brave M93 owners out there?

The light strike issue is semi resolved. It was the firing pin block. Poor Chinese engineering. From my understanding, under the full weight of a hammer strike the pin block, which is spring loaded from underneath, is supposed to compress downward and allow the firing pin to be struck. Otherwise it's purpose is to stop the firing pin from striking a round accidently, for example if the pistol were dropped. Unfortunately, it wasn't doing its job and was causing damage to itself, the firing pin, and the hammer by not getting out of the way properly. I had to remove the pin block altogether and might look into replacing it or having a gunsmith tinker with it to make it work properly sometime down the road, but for now my gun works! Yay!

FWIW Princess Auto which it seems is everywhere has these magnetic pickup tools on wheels for about $15 for the entry level one -- that's what I bought mine for after the roofers were done. I've picked up three sandwich bags full of nails and counting...

A magnet that fits a small diameter broom handle or mop handle was about $3 and does really well for itself in tight corners. My Norincos have yet to fly apart at the range but one of my Berettas lost a part the other day. The broom handle magnet is now in my shooting bag with a short handle from a defunct squeegee, and I'm on the lookout for a telescoping handle.
