Any Canadian Suppliers of Voere Rifles?

I think Ruko Canada did import them...not sure who does now. I have a 2185 Standard in 30/06...they are pretty special shooters and use a 3 lug rotating bolt lockup. I think Epps had a 2185M for sale at one time...the 2185B is interesting as well..

If they were truthful to me, and I emailed them and they said they do not make it anymore, the police markman version, I forgot to ask about the match variant. Personally I believe they are keeping these rifles for LE and military sales or they would be off their website.
Try emailing them yourself bye the way, voere@aon.at
Maybe they can tell you a Canadian source for new rifles?
I own the sporter version of this rifle, and I strongly advice you to deal directly with this Austrian company vs a US distributor for parts or manuals. Since 911 dealing with south of the border, rules are silly and costs have gone up.....
Bye the way I find their chambers very very tight and my hunter variant does not shoot bullets over 168 grain very good at all. Found I had to use M1 Garand handload data on the heavier bullets(max 168) to shoot okay. This rifle almost seemed perfect for 150 grain bullets, again with Garand data, and down so I believe the throat is shorter than most. What I could get away with on my Garand for handloads, sizing wise,( I use the same safe powder for both 30-06s), IF they were not perfectly sized with full length dies, would jam in my chamber if I loaded them into the Voere 2185. This was humbling experience and goes to show the finickyness of that Austrian rifle. Factory 180s you say, A nightmare. the winchester powerpoints jammed, would not fully chamber, about 3 of 20 and when they did chamber they shot terribly at 100 yards, when they did fire boy they realy banged around this rifle, not dangerous, but the metal parts really smacked each other, hence the Garand handload data I recommend to prevent premature breakage! For practice Federal Eagle 150 FMJs brand shot awesome!
(other federal ammo chambered much much better than the winchesters too)
From the Euorpean perspective, I think, they probably intent to shoot 150s out of these 30-06 rifles 99% of the time. Another CGN er had problems with his rifle for feeding smoothly at all, but I do not know if he sorted it out, but I have not, that said , no problems with magazines or double feeds. So one never knows,go figure?
Hey, I am a little too sloppy perhaps in my reloading habits, but this rifle demands perfection! Funky trigger, can be adjusted externally with a metric allen key, took some getting used to because the trigger is so different, my friends do not have a high opinion of it. But a safety and loading handle positioned like a M1/M14.
Cheers and good luck.........
