I guess some guys on here have never heard of trafficing birds or had any success running traffic on birds? Give it a whirl, see what happens! I also agree with the mojos, you'd be surprised what you can draw with them, and having water in the field shouldn't be a deal breaker. I would honestly get as many spinners as you could get your hands on to try it out. Worse case scenario, you don't shoot many birds but you still get to enjoy a day in the great outdoors, far better than sitting on the couch.
