Hi Ryan,

Many years back, I bought .303 British in 50 round boxes from S.I.R. Warehouse Sports in Winnipeg. They may have been military surplus as they were sold in plain cardboard boxes with no manufacturer's information on them. Lately, the only .303 British I have been able to find are boxes of 20 rds.

Are there any companies that sell .303 in larger quantities?

I know that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems-Canada Inc. makes .303 for the CAF (the Rangers) in Quebec. Is there any possibility that they would sell to the civilian market?

Any chance you might be able to bring in .303 in bulk (even if it is still in 20 round boxes)?

I would love to pick up a few hundred rounds for my Lee-Enfield.

Thanks

- Jayne

The surplus at SIR was 20$ for 50 rounds. I shot a ton of that stuff. I think those days are gone for 303 surplus.

Step one, get time machine. Step two, go back in time and buy cheap 303. Step 3, bring it back to 2015.

Pretty much the only way to get cheap 303 I believe.

It's amazing that in a country with a mass amount of various rifles chambered in .303B including several that were our nation's service rifle, we dont have large amounts of ammunition to feed them.

It's not amazing really. It was all shot years ago. It's called surplus for a reason, it won't last forever.

I'm going to lock this now. Unless someone has a time machine, there is no 303 surplus
