any clinics coming to AB this year?

Thanks KC, the sling came with the rifle but I'm pretty sure I saw some at pro line in inglewood.
Now I just have to decide if I want to put glass on it

Wood stock and sling looks pretty clean. If you don't mind shooting irons then it is pretty pure M1A.
The only real way to get short eye relief glass on means you usually need to also add a cheek riser.
If you can find a well made leather cheek riser to match the sling leather that would look great too!

Nice M1A!

Will drop by there soon, thanks for the tip!

As for glass, I dunno...it's a tough choice. That's why you need two M1A's :p

Glass is great because it just gives you such an easier time shooting precisely. Irons are awesome because, well, they're irons!

I would be 100% interested.
What's the typical agenda for a 2 day clinic?
How's the best way to put a list of attendees together for Calgary...
I'd love to collect any best practices I can. I have 3 of them... :) 2 are LRB M25's...

Agenda? All here in the descriptions: www.tacticalteacher.ca

Calgary is usually a single day, classroom only delivery because I need a gun club and range with a classroom (Like I had at the Peace River, AB clinic in 2013 and Fort MakeMoney, AB clinic in 2102)

I'm still in the process of hammering out my road trip schedule. Many gun clubs and sponsors of my clinics are currently working on their calendars and seeing how they can fit my schedule in with theirs. :)

Trust me, I desperately need to hit the open road like back in 2010, 2012, and 2013.

Cheers,
Barney

My offer at the farm still stands if there's no where else to work on guns AND shoot them afterwards. There's a big shed there e could set tables up in for the classroom part and 64 acres to safely shoot on.

But given you haven't seen it in person i understand the apprehension.

This is what's happening so far in my new career as a Lifty (lift operator) at Blue Mtn Resorts. I'm currently working on the evening shift with Sundays off work. That's when I can deliver my M14 clinics locally in Ontario with these dates:

Sunday 29 March Sudbury Crean Hill GC
Sunday 26 April Kingston Frontenac GC (Still working on official Executive confirmation)

I will be working in May, June, July, August, and a part of September during the days, with little time off ability but once September rolls around the tourist/DH biking season slows down and then I can consider a road trip. :)

You see for many (30 of them) years I was off in July and August therefore determining clinic dates across the country was easy to do.

Now I am done in the classroom but in the private sector like many of you. We will work with what we've got!

So as we get closer to summer and I can start determining my 3-4 week road trip, I can begin the planning process. :)

Thanks for all you kind words!

I'm back to work on the Blue Mountain Open Air Gondola this coming Friday. Then I can confirm my expected "seasonal lay off" period that starts after the Labor Day weekend. Yes, I am driving out there! :dancingbanana:

I am in conversation with 2 reps; one from YYC and one from Ponoka GC. I need to try and get closest to Edmonchuk

I miss the open road!

Still in conversation with various sponsors and point men regarding booking their classroom for an M14 clinic. So it's just a matter of where we are gonna have these M14 clinics. At least we are in the discussion stages right now.

I am sure by the time we get further into July we will hammer down some bookings. :)

Cheers, Barney.
