using LilGun with 45 gn bullets in a 22 Hornet???

Never tried LilGun but our recipe is a 35gr V-Max over 12.5gr W296 in a K'd action.
Nasty results on gophers out to as far as you can shoot accurately.

hodgdon list 2 different 45gr bullet loads on their site. both are 12gr start and 13gr max.

LilGun is an excellent powder for a Hornet. It is critical as to pressure, so watch your loads pretty close, but it will give as good, or better velocity as any powder I tried.

This has been my experience as well. I have used it in both the regular Hornet and the K-Hornet with great success.
