Any DAO Pistols available/ever available in Canada?

I've got a Double Action Only Beretta in 40 S&W.
It's in the safe and I don't recall the specific model designation.
It's strictly double action NOT a SA/DA.
I'll be dumping it and a few other handguns via the Ellwood Epps website in the next couple of months or so.

Is the 5946 12(6)? I would love to get my hands on one of those...

I have a 5906 w/ extended barrel. I love these steel frame S&W! They feel so good in the hand!

That 5906 barrel should work to convert a 5946 to restricted. It might be possible to convert the trigger in your -06 to -46 spec. Might want to call Murray Charlton Enterprises and ask, but be warned, the 5946 is a tough gun to shoot fast, or well.

Does it have a similar trigger to the 5906DA? The DA on the 06 is pretty stiff haha...

So would I legally be able to share a barrel with 2 guns? Get a 5946 w/ no barrel? Assuming my 5906 barrel just dropped in?

cZ made a 75B DAO but they are difficult to find. Have been told it is not difficult to convert a cZ 75B to DAO.

Have owned a 5906 and shot a 5946(RCMP issue). I am a revolver shooter and found the 5946 was really easy to shoot well. If I had a choice, 5946 all the way-just kinda cool.

Questar brought in the PX4 D about 6 years ago and sold them for about $1000. I haven't seen anyone retail them since then. They pop up on the EE from time to time, but they still go for a lot of money.

I have a S&W 1086 (compact third gen 10mm DAO pistol made in 1991-1992), 108mm barrel from factory witch is pretty cool and it uses the same DAO trigger as the other xx46 & xx86 S&W pistols. I think it's one, if not the most (correct me if I'm wrong) compact all steel 10mm pistol available (not talking about compact & ultra compact Glocks here).

The DAO trigger on S&W's pistols is really not that bad if you like shooting your revolver in DA. I would go further and say that I really like it.
