Any dealers carry Beretta 92D?

I have check quite a few dealers as well, with no luck. However if anyone does locate a Beretta 90-Two Model D, I would be happy to know who carries them.

A lot of Beretta theads lately...

I don't think Beretta makes D model any more, if the still do it's probably mostly for LEO's since most people don't like long heavy triggers. PoliceOrdnance might sill have 96D (.40) police trade-ins they are/were ~$500...

But you can convert a FS model to DAO! (I think you'll need a D hammer though).

Btw why do you want a DAO?

You don't necessarily need the D-hammer or the D-spring, but the spring will help with the longer trigger pull.

I did it to mine: Take grips off, put thumb over sear spring to catch it, remove sear pin with small tool, shake gun and drop sear & sear spring out, replace grips. It smoothens the trigger pull out with less 'mechanics' in the way too. Although I liked it at first I lost my accuracy so the sear went back in.

I guess I'm crazy and prefer shooting a double action. How is shooting the 92FS double action wise?

Same as with any DA/SA gun; it's fairly long and heavy. So even if you're used to striker fired DAO guns like glocks, you may not like a DAO hammer gun...
