Do you recommend the Break Free to remove the possible corrosive contamination ?
Lots of fellas seem to go the boiling water route .
I had this idea if I was using boiling water in the barrel I would use a piece of tubing and pour it in there

I can't confirm what CLP does to the corrosive salts created by the corrosive primers, but I can confirm that I've used it for 15 years of shooting corrosive surplus ammo through my M91/30, SVT-40, and SKS's, and I have yet to have an issue with rust, save for the one time I didn't use CLP.

I've been scratching my head all this time about the lengths people go to: boiling water, ammonia based window cleaners, etc... and it has me scratching my head.

LOL ! That I am ! Sorry my nature I guess , not trying to be a pain !
I literally took took that “ If you don’t ask questions you won’t learn “. thing to heart !
I do lots of googling as well ! I like to ask things that people with more knowledge than I can answer and confirm what I find out in my Google searches .

I’m sure I will have more questions , no I guarantee it !
