Any decent 6x30 binoculars available?

What is currently available on the market?

Why I'm looking for these: don't like the 8x20s (or similar) as they need to be held really steady and the exit pupil isn't big enough. The 7x35s or 8x32s aren't bad, but more bulky than I care for.

6 x magnification along with a 5 mm exit pupil would serve my purposes just right.

I've got a pair of Minox 6.5x32mm IF (individual focus) that I like very much. If CameraLand still has any, they are excellent quality for the price. I chose them because they are much more compact and handy than the 7x50 porro prism types I had used for years, and like you I didn't want to go to the 8x or 10x by 20mm or 25mm that comprise most of the compact offerings. They turned out to be just what I was hoping for.

I agree with Tooner. I also have the Minox 6.5 x 32 IF also purchased from CameraLand. The clarity of the lenses more than makes up for the lower power.
