It's normal until the springs are worked in. First take them apart and make sure that the spring is properly seated in in the follower. If the spring isn't seated properly it can make for tough loading, especially that 10th round, and can cause rounds to nose-dive into the mag-well instead of sliding up the feed ramp properly. Leave the mags loaded for a while when not in use on the range to compress the springs and work them in passively, and don't listen to the armchair operators about ruining your mag springs by leaving it loaded, it's a myth. I also recommend getting something like a MagLula speed loader, makes loading "large capacity" mags faster and easier. No loader's thumb.
Other than that, simply using them is the best method for working them in.
