Any Experience with Bell & Carlson Carbelite Stocks?

Bell & Carlson are decent stocks. Not sure where the Carbelite fits in their line up though. They make the stock for the Remington Ti and Winchester All-Weather. I've got a few of those and like them. They are not McMillans, got a few of those as well, but they are better then the factory plastic and RamLine type stocks.

I have one I bought in the late 80's, I used on a Rem700 that I was very happy with, I could put it back on that gun today and it would work just fine, ran it over with my jeep once, never even marked it.

The majority of Bell and Carlson stocks I have worked on have not been great stocks. I wouldn't own one of those.

The big precision rifle stock seems okay though...

I should have listened to my gunsmith.
When I asked what he though of B&C stock seems to me he said, "they are a great stock...If...You are on Welfare"! :D

15 rounds of 416 Remington destroyed one of the none bedding block versions.

I bought a McMillan and have never looked back.

Oh ya!....You were right Dennis! :p

The only experience I have with B&C is with Ti stocks, they are not a McMillan(I have those as well),but for a straight bolt on stock they are useable. Not the best ergonomics. Mur
