Any experience with Boyd Stocks?

I was wondering if anyone had any experience ordering stocks from Boyd's and having them shipped cross border. I know that the $100 limit means a export permit is required, but I was interested in a Swede stock for around $65.00 US. Has anyone ordered one and if so what extra fees were tacked on at the border etc. Thanks, Peter.

My last expirence was good. Sent via the US Postal Service. They will not ship anything valued over US$100.00 anyway. Postage is the same for one or two stocks, about $20.00 so if you see an M14 or Garand stock in the $20.00 range (their "stockpile" section), I would pick it up and flip it here to help offset your total cost

Oh yeah, the landed cost here: 15% (PST&GST + 5.00 postal handling fee)

I'm working on one now.It's a semi-inle 2nd from their stockpile. Nothing a little epoxy filler won't fix.Wood comes across with no problem.

We import them all the time, reasonably good product at a reasonable price. If over the $100.00 they will refer you to us anyway
