I am looking to purchase one but have been reading some conflicting reviews. Basically I would like to use it to sight my hand guns. I am sure that most of them are pretty good but I would like to be sure that they are shooting on target. That way if I miss its all my fault.

I look forward to hearing from you guys.

I've used mine to get a couple of scoped rifles on paper (.17HMR, .22 Hornet, .223 and .308). I suspect that a boresighter with arbours would be a bit more consistent but have not compared the two.

An inexpensive scope leveler might also be of help, as many people's scopes are often enough mounted at a slight tilt that can effect POI at ranges other than what the rifle's been sighted in at.

Cheers,

Frank

i have one . i use it all the time . no problems with it what so ever.i have even tried it at 100 yards .gets me on the paper there everytime .

I backed away from the magnetic

bore sighter, and went with the one that has the arbours. From what I see it is obviously more reliable and not that much harder to use. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the tips.

I have owned both but I am a nervous nelly about putting arbours in the business end of a rifle so I use the Bushnell Magnetic Boresighter exclusively. Guaranteed to get you on paper at 25m (often 50 and sometimes 100 ) from which you can use the scope adjustments to tune your zero to where you want it.
