I'm about to buy a Bushnell 6-24x50 for a new .300 win mag. It'll be mostly for elk, maybe some long range plinking if I ever get time.
I had wanted the 4-16x44 DOA 600 reticle but the store only has the duplex reticle(Multi X Bushnell calls it).
They have the 6-24x50 in stock with the DOA 800. Any reason I should'nt get it? I know I don't need 24x for elk, but it'd be kinda cool to have. And don't tell me about more expensive options, I'm not going any higher on price. Just want to hear from anyone who has the 6-25x50 or the 4-16x44.

Ya I bought one too, wanted the 4-16 model but they where out. I put it up for sale as while it was in transit I found an amazing deal on a Zeiss from a buddy that fit my needs better. But the Trophy extreme is quite a step up from the normal trophy series. Definetly better glass, and seems well built. I was really surprised as well at the turrets have really solid clicks and it also under the new lifetime no fault warrenty. Would like to try it out when this effing Arctic freeze effed off.
