Hi there,
anybody owns one of those? What's your experience? Reliability, durability, accuracy? Before you will tell me that anything Norinco is crap.... I indeed had some God awful stuff from them...but also some truly excellent. That's why I'm asking. Thanks!

213 is almost completely interchangeable parts wise. The only exceptions are the magazines - magwell spacer in the 213 - and the safety - which can be removed to make a trigger unit from a TT fit into the 213.

Thank you. Much appreciated. I'm familiar with TT 33, so kinda know what to expect format and handling wise. I like the original a lot, so it's good to hear that the copy is a decent gun as well.

Nestor, I bought two of the 213's back when the amazing $99 deal was available. I was new to shooting and wanted to buy them to learn a little about gun tuning. I'd been doing metal work for years as a hobby but as with many things learning some gun smithing and tuning is another branch of metal working that has its own set of unique skills and requirements.

Bottom line was that I managed to tune them up pretty well and after some barrel break in (basically went from minute of big pumpkin accuracy to minute of small grape over around 150 rounds each) both guns were excellent shooters.

The safeties were useless when using two hands to shoot as the double hands could not avoid switching back to SAFE during recoil. And that meant I could not use the guns in IDPA unless I lowered the hammer and drew then cocked. I did use one of them for some of the low key local speed steel matches where safeties were not needed because we didn't draw from a holster. The guns worked fine for that.

Due to some various things I ended up selling both. But not until I had around 500 to 600 rounds through each one. I found them to be pretty darn nice guns when tuned up a little. But they didn't fit in all that well with the rules of my competition shooting and so they didn't see much use.

If you like the design I would say that you could do a LOT worse than finding your own 213 along with some mags.

I don't know if they still have any but a while back Lever Arms in Vancouver still had the 9mm mags with the back spine spacer used by 213's for cheap. I picked up two of them to try to adapt over to a Spanish Destroyer rifle project in 9mm.

Thank you BCRider. I have one incoming soon and was able to locate the extra mags as well. Should be fun. Much appreciated. I'll probably remove the safety altogether. Cheers.
