Any experience with stevens 512 Goldwing O/U ?

I handled one and it seemed decent for the price. Although the finish looked a bit funky. Anybody own one? What's the skinny on it?

I've got one. The fit, finish, and wood quality on mine are excellent. There is a little bit of play on the trigger, and the chokes weren't my favourite, but for the price point I don't think you can buy a better o/u. From other reviews online there have been complaints about the safety, and while I can see where they're coming from, I think the issue is consumer related not the fault of the manufacturer.

I love mine, but after market chokes are a must.

I've got one too. Looks great, and shoots great. I got the 20ga, and I have not had any problems with the safety or barrel seletor. Downed 10 birds so far.
