hmmm
I saw one at the Castor gunshow. There is alocal dealer there. He said parts are no problem and are very cheap.
He had a 2WD unit there and said the 4WD would be availble in a few weeks.
He also said they are marketed under different names, same unit. That is common with many items from generators to riding mowers to whatever.
He said he had sold some to local ranchers and they seem to work well. Problems??? He said he had a couple of electrical burps. nothing serious and easy fix. [Water in connectors, bad ground things]
It's a no brainer that the 4WD is better suited for hunting the same as a 4X4 truck is better.
Of course you get what you pay for, but does that mean that the others aren't way overpriced????
The 4X4 units will sell for $3000. You d the math. will they take a pounding like some of the bigger machines, I doubt it, but that isn't what it is represented or sold to do.
I have no interest in selling these machines, but I could probably get a lot of use from one. I wouldn't race up and down the bush road or pound the snot out of one on the hills and in the swamp. I don't do that stuff with my horse and he works fine.
So have any of you guys that say they are POS, or have nothing good to say actually bought one? Just asking. What you base your opinion on?
