Anyone tried the NcStar MSKSV2 gas tube rail? Yes I know it's NcStar and yes I know it's mounted on the gas tube. This mount requires some fitting and has side screws that screw to the sight block. This should take care of inline and lateral movements. So I'm curious if anyone has tried it.

Don't BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bit it already getting one from Flaherty's when they got their first stock in. My piston from my 51 Tula is too small for the tube. There is a screw from the rail that portrudes into the gas tube a bit and the tube is slightly larger than the gas fitting. That and i had to file it a bunch and kinda fudged it but i Had my uncle who is a long time gun nut from alberta check it out and he said it looked cool but verified my thoughts on the piston not fitting. WORST 42$ Bucks i have spent for my SKS. DONY BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I read some of the very few online reviews and comments. Apparently having a piston too small for the tube is possible. I know that filing needs to be done and that's fine, but I didn't know there is a screw that protrudes into the tube. Thanks for letting me know. Luckily I haven't placed an order in yet. Would have been an interesting mount option, though.
