Getting short of time and too lazy to reload at times when home in BC, anyone happen to stumble across a source of 38-55 factory rolled ammo? I've gone thru the usual suspects and came up snake eyes, any heads up is most appreciated.....

The Canadian Tire in Prince George usually had some.

Picked up a box at rusty wood. If I remember right it was just shy of 50$ for a box of 20. Get a deal if you take the old brass back in.
Good luck I had trouble sourcing at a resonable price. Turns out the guy just down the road had it lol.

sorry for the necro thread? Only stuff I found googling was at Prophet River and they don't have a convenient ammo checkout - have ot wait for Monday to phone them, get a shipping quote, etc.

Was hoping someone with decent e-commerce options has some in stock?

We currently have Winchester Power Point 38-55. 255 grain for sale at $74/ box of 50. Phil.

did you read this guys post, $74 for 50 is quite alright these days!!!!

Pushing up on six bucks every time you pull the trigger.

Reloading has become the only economically viable option.
True, though to reload you need a few things I’m still gathering. I want to use jacketed hunting bulllets, only Barnes seems to still make them, so I have that in the way along with dies. I’ll harvest brass from a couple boxes of initial factory ammo, or at least that is the plan.
