I wondered if some of you would share your favorite target and hunting loads with me using the componets I have on hand. This is all I can get my hands on for the time being in Yellowknife, NWT, so I have to make do with these ingredients. If any of you has a decent load using this stuff, would you share it?
I have 80 once fired brass for a .308 win (40 win brass/40 fed brass)
120 once fired brass for a .300 win mag (60 win/60 federal)

1 LB of Reloader 19
1 LB of Reloader 22
200 Win magnum rifle primers
50 x 165 gr. Barnes triple shock X bullets solid copper
50 x 180 gr. Nosler accubond bullets

If any of you have good loads using any combination of these components (they dont have to be barnburners at mach 20, just reliable hunting rounds)
please share with me, including starting loads and max loads.

I have a lee challenger kit single stage press, and electric caliper, with full resizer dies and crimp dies etc.
Thanks to all who look and share any of their hard work.
I have a savage 116 stainless with 24" barrel in .300, and a Parker-hale 1200 with 23" barrel in .308, if anyone is wondering the firearms and barrel lengths I will be using.:):D:runaway::dancingbanana::shotgun::sniper::wave:

Bad news, Alliant does show RL19 nor RL22 for 308. RL15 is what you need here.

Sierra does show those powders either.

Good to go with the 300.

Go to their web site for the loads.

Magnum primers are not needed.

300 WM.

180gr

RL19 start 65.4gr max 71.1gr

RL22 start 67.2gr max 74.8gr.

For the 165gr you should consult the Barnes manual.

I have owned several 300 Win mags over the years, and most of them would accept around 76 grains of Reloder 22 as a max load with the 180 Partition. This would generally chronograph close to 3100 fps in a 24" tube, which is about what one should expect from the 300 Win. The Accubond, being a slightly different bullet, might vary from that, so one would want to approach that from 3-4 grains below and work up safely. Since I have not shot a 165 grain "anything" in the 30 cal mags, I cannot comment on them. Regards, Eagleye.
