any feedback on RL17 and 6,5x55 in modern action ?

I have used it with 140 gr bullets, using H4350 load data. After a fair bit of work, I found in my gun, best accuracy was with H4350, a full load of H1000 was second in accuracy with about the same MV as H4350, and highest MV was with a full load of RL25 (I just wish it was more accurate).
RL17 did not warrant further work. It's a suitable powder for the 6.5X55 for 140 gr and lighter bullets and might work well in your gun - worth a try at least.

I find it to be to fast for bullets over 120 grains. IMHO, you're pushing the limits with 140 grain and heavier bullets.
H1000 is very good as mentioned before but I still prefer the old tried and true H4831, either in regular or short cut. I use 46 grains of H4831SC over CCI250 primers under 140 grain Hornady SST Interlocks in my Tikka T3. In that particular rifle, it is an extremely accurate load at about 2600fps. Not a rocket by any means but with that bullet, you never recover the bullets, even at 300+ meters.
