Any first hand experience with the Savage 42?

Caramel just bought one and did a write up on it, I think?
I had one in my hands at the gun shop a while back.
It sure picked up my eyebrows.
Light, easy to work and tempting.
Moderately priced in the >$400.00 mark.
Too bad the .410 didn't have the screw in choke option.
