Yep, but they haven't been made for years. Husqvarna got out of the firearms business long ago.

For my part i had an M38 in 6.5x55 and it was a great gun. Brought down quite a few white tail with it.

If it is the Mauser type actions you are asking about, they are a very solid rifle.

On the husky's the bolt stop and trigger kinda suck, otherwise they are good. Nice rifles.

I like shooting game with variety, new gun for each tag pretty much (mostly buy used, sometimes new) anywho. He has used his same 30-06 husky for every since I can remember. Bolt isnt the nicest, trigger not half bad, but its been a tack driver since the day it was made.

I'd say check out the HVA sticky at the top but very few there seem to have pics laying on game so they must be just safe queens and posers.

As RickF mentioned the triggers can use attention. Typical to most older rifles the bedding should be checked as well. They point nicely and are a hard working gun.

Darn it. You blew my cover! Yes, had it over 61 years and still consider it the best of the three 30-06s in that locker.

Is'nt CGN great? It's well respected vetran members like H4831,who go out of their way to help out new members and steer them along the right path!

All spoofing aside. If you find a HVA rifle in good shape,you'll not be disapointed by it. Check out Trade Ex for numerous choices.
