I was just wondering if anybody knows if there are any Gunsmiths left in Winnipeg?
There used to be a few, Jennings, Ernie's, Prairie Gun Works, (Now PGWDTI) and even a couple of basement guys, Brian at Tri-Star and Ralph Olson, who taught Gunsmithing I & II courses, and the old Firing Line even had a guy, and probably some I didn't know.
I know there is a guy in Dugald who is a really nice guy, but I don't know his background or abilities.
Anybody know of anybody? Is Dean Jennings still around?
Thanks.

Try Me. Bowers Arm & Tools. I' had a shop in N.W.T. years ago. just keep to myself and do love my bedroom hobby workshop. I am retired but I will do some select firearm repairs. Contact me at e-mail <b_arm_tools@hotmail> Very experienced and even did that ICS course. Paul. ie Powpow

RDP GunSmithing worked on my hundred plus year old Marlin 1893. He did a good job and charged a fair price. Smithing took a cpl weeks, but I know hes pretty busy (a good sign). I think he does work for the WPS or RCMP. I would go back again.

Had Jim clean up and inspect an old (1906) Win 94 for me, great guy to talk to; did good work.

He's semi-retired so make sure you call ahead to arrange your visit.
