any Hi Power smiths? UPDATE

Anyone know of a gunsmith experienced with BHP's in Ontario?

I've broken the frame cam pin on mine. I have a replacement cam pin, but it requires a gunsmith to install.
Apparently it has to be press fit into the frame and then peened in.

I emailed casey at tacord and he doesnt think he can do it.

Many thanks for recommending GUNCO, Jason.

Dropped off BHP and replacement Frame Cam Pin, on a Friday afternoon. Got a call Saturday afternoon that it was ready for pickup.
To say i was shocked is an understatemant.
It required, filing, fitting and then peening in place. All for 84$.

Test fired a box through it and all is good. The King lives again.

oh, its an 1969 FN hipower i use for courses and all around heavy use.

the inglis stays in the safe, with the 1972.

no to epps. Had a bad experience a long time ago with a llama 45.
tacord has done work on my BHPs in the past with milling the slide for aftermarket sights, so i figured casey might be able to do it.

And i was about to call "that" gunsmith the week of the incident.
