Any idea what pattern of AR 15 this is ?

That's getting a bit strong, it is just an SP1. Unless you've got one made before 1968 there isn't anything particularly special about them, and I've never yet heard of one that early in Canada. Most date right around 1980.

I don't suggest any AR-15 owner take his gun apart just yet, but if you must, you must.

I know of two that were brought into the country as NR in 67 before the full auto bans and long before the first on the bus off the bus with prohibited OiCs.

Or the restricted registration paperwork --Dieseldog!

You cannot go by the Firearm Registration certificate. Because they do not list the model number. I got my booklet that contains all my registration certs for my restricted, zero have the model number on it. I even got a Reg certiciate from almost 20 years ago, and it is no different than the one I got last week, Only time you see a model number is when you get the Transfer Authorization.

I got 2 CZ pistols, Both with the same barrel length, only thing different is the serial number.

Looks just like the one I had in 1975 I bought at Lever Arms .
