There's one on townpost in alberta for 1300 which I think is way too high. And one in bc for 950 which was posted on March 3rd, which has not moved. I have one I bought about 7 years ago for 700 which I believe was top of the market at the time.
Yah prices seem to be all over the place.
I am looking at it this week, buying of an old guy down the street, want to give him a fair price.
He's had it for a long time and never shot it, I'm hoping he at least kept it oiled
I have seen them sell for around $425 at gunshows in the not too distant past.
Used to be pretty common in Canada as Century brought in a large batch of them and carbines as well that they sold for $110 each in excellent condition and I remember Trade-Ex had about a dozen rifles and a similar amount of carbines that took them years to sell at $365 each at the time in the mid 2010's.
They never were that popular even if surplus ammo was easy to find and very cheap too at a 1000 rounds on stripper clips for under $250.

M95 Steyr Mannlicher. Check to see if there is a large ‘S’ on the receiver that will tell you if it is in 8x56r or 8x50r (8x50r does not have the ‘S’).
Odds are it is in 8x56r (vast majority are). Value would roughly be in the 700-1000$ range. They can sit for a while sometimes.
