Any ideas on this c.1725 flintlock?

A friend inherited this flintlock and the only info he has is that it was given to his parent by a collector while in Australia. Any ideas on value (if any) and where he would go to sell it?

The more I look at the gun, the more I think that it was either made or extensively remade in India. To my eye it looks like all of the screws have been replaced by nails riveted over and based on the photo, I would not be surprised if the mainspring was broken or missing. While I think external parts of the lock may be original to Europe, I think the lock has been reassembled from parts in India. I guess the big question is how old and where was the barrel and stock made?
Given its condition and my beliefs about its origin I don't think it is worth morth than $100 to $200.
