No kidding. When you're trying to pick out enough head in the grass to shoot at, 20X isn't too much. Sometimes it isn't enough.
Then there was the 700 yard deer that turned into a mulie through the scope. He's still alive, thanks to a 8.5-25 Mark 4. Traditional low powered scopes lose a lot of their appeal when I can pick out a buck from the does in a field with binos, but the shooter can't.
