Any interest in the Russian RMB-93 combat shotgun?

Would you purchase the RMB-93 at the given price?

I guess that the manufacturers don't have the slightest idea of what the actual market conditions are around here.
Too bad because that thing sure works.
For that price, i'd investigate in that funny South-African short combat shotgun with double upper magazines and reversed pump action, the Neostead.
PP.

Not at all interested. Gun is gross and price is gross.

Mossberg mav88- $179+ ATI top folding stock $100, and bingo- Just saved myself $1000

You can't really compare a budget version of a budget pump with budget accessories to something that's built and tested to notoriously demanding Russian milspec standards?

The light weight, unique mechanism, compact size without resorting to a bullpup layout, and real milspec construction are what sets it apart.

Still I agree, at $1300 it s really expensive for a pump, I feel the same about the UTS-15 and the KSG, which is likely to go for a similar price in Canada. Both of which are equally ugly BTW! :p

I think the price is too high given the availability of proven good quality shotguns such as the Mossberg 500 and Remington 870. I appreciate the fact that you guys are looking for new products though.

I would pay $200 of my girlfriends money for it. I take it this is from their WW2 stock thats what it looks like anyway. And the price you have to be joking take that money and buy a benelli tact.

The problem with TsKIB Soo, is that they are more of a design bureau than a production facility...

On the + side
You get limited run of interesting firearms that literally hand built one at the time

One the - side
There are no economy of scale, and with the Russian economy going up, so are the production cost.

As far as I recall, the only two dealers who manage to actually export some of these beast were Armrus and one other gun dealer out of Cyprus. There was another guy out of Italy that was listing them, but I don't think they had any actual inventory.

the bullpup at 6:00 5,56A-91 5.56mm Small-Size Assault Rifle is awesome. I bet it would be prohib based on the fact that it looks similar to a T-97 :p

I don't know about this one. It looks interesting but that isn't the sort of price i would personally associate with a Russian firearm.

I like it, except that the magazine tube extends past the muzzle. Aesthetically, its kinda weird for me.

Its the other way around, the barrel is the bottom tube with this gun.
