any interest on Springfield Armory M1A rear sight?

LOL... I just went looking for info on this....

My wife is starting to wonder about the number of packages that have been arriving..

Told her I was building a robot to take over the world... I think she buys it!
 
Received the sights and might have already contacted some of you to arrange shipping.

The SAI made sights have snap-ring retainers on the elevation drum, while the GI ones were permanently pressed in at manufacture.

I do know their NM sights are new-made, but evidently they are currently shipping GI for standard sights. Cool.

So are they worth $100 bucks? I was looking at the Italian sights and liking how they had the white crayon already done

*Facepalm*

Any art store can supply you with a wax pencil; fortunately, it would allow you to improve all of the sight adjustments on all of your guns. Having worked in a hobby store when I was younger, painting displays, I just... paint mine. Everyone else, who can't master a brush, tends to do well with the wax pencil method. Just channel that inner-adolescent, and do circles and wipe!
 
It is most definitely worth it.
These sights are brand new, not refurbished or out of storage old stuff.

Major step up from the poor fit and finish of the Norc original
