Any interst in Tactical conversion for the M14

Yes there is lots of conventional ones, but I am talking about making it a modern day battle rifle. Fully integrated rail system into the stalk etc. More like an M4 rifle. It might already exist here, but check out fulton-armory.com
Thats what I was thinking about and if it is already here than thanks!

Fulton has all kinds of goodies that they "refuse" to sell to canadians... period. And yes, they carry the troy sopmod and full line of troy chassis system for the m14.... if that's what yer thinkin of.
I have the means to get this stuff but.... it is not readily availlable in canada. I have a good number of fulton sorced items coming my way as we speak :D

Well, It looks like you have this covered;)

The stuff is out there, but since pretty much all of it is made state side, we tend to either get the shaft, or end up paying an arm and a leg for it. It would be nice if there was some quality canadian made stuff around, if that's what you're getting at

The M14 is FA. The M1A and M305 aren't. All three are already 'tactical'.
Fulton builds copies of the M14 for very long USD.

John,
Take a look at the picture of the last M-14 Wet Coast group grope ...

Some of that stuff looks somewhat Tacticool to me.

If you believe a full powered 7.62 NATO main Battle Rifle has a "tactical" role in CQB, then check out the folding stock shorty "carbine". Or the wood stocked shorty with the comp.

If you believe an MBR should be more "tactical" for long range shooting, as perhaps a designated squad marksman rifle, or a sniper spotter's rifle, then the accuracy mods, big scopes, bipods and custom stocks can do that nicely ... like Thomas' pistol grip stock with comp, or my JAE 100 stocked / scoped / comped rifles.

And most of these "tactical" mods are within the ability of a careful do-it-yourselfer. Because it is so difficult, and so expensive, to trick out our 14s with imported US nasty bits, we Canucks are doing lots of innovative things for ourselves, and that is what the Wet Coast meetings are mostly about ... showing enthusiasts how to do-it-yourself.

Keep your eye on the Wet Coast threads ...
next month we will be chopping off barrels,
and Thomas and I will be racing to unveil our "tactical" stocks. with aluminum bedding. Thomas is going with a composite stock, with aluminum bedding blocks embedded, his "JAE or Macmillan" competitor, and I am going with almost all ALUMINUM SQUARE TUBING, for a SAGE?TROY?MARSTAR? type FUGLY THING.

PS: as soon as I can spend some quality time in my basement, I'll also be working on a rail that goes from forend to rear sight, and a new clamp on front sight/flashider and ....
but the first step is still to clean the basement.

I will be posting do it yourself instructions for my MUNIMULA stock, and anyone with a drill press and a table saw should be able to duplicate my design for under $ 100

Sounds like you guys out on the Wet Coast really have the creative juices flowing. Can't wait to see your further creations. It will be like watching an episode of Monster Garage, only its Monster Gunsmiths.

I've almost finished modifying the pistol grip stock i showed pics of the other day. I have streamlined her without giving up too much of the forward grip.
once i'm happy with it and the general feedback from guys here is more favorable..... I will send it off to the shop for machine molding. My A2 clone mold is done.... I was at the machine shop today while it was being polished. Gonna lay up a stock in the new mold over the next few days..... i'm excited :dancingbanana:
